6 days/5 nights. Visiting: Prague and Budapest.

Day 1. PRAGUE
Arrival. Meet and assist. Transfer to your hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, there may be time to explore or take a stroll through the city.
Overnight in Prague.

Day 2. PRAGUE
Breakfast at hotel.
Join our tour of Prague to see its exquisite Old Town. Cross the River Vltava, by the Charles Bridge, to the Hradcany district dominated by the imposing castle, St Vitus’ Cathedral and the historic Royal Palace.
Free time for lunch.
Afternoon to explore the Jewish Quarter (Josefov) including the Maisel Synagogue, the Pinkas Synagogue, the Spanish Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Jewish Museum. Afterwards, head to Powder Tower, one of the historical gates to Old Town, before continuing next door to admire the exquisite Art Nouveau interiors of Prague’s Municipal House, home to Smetana Hall and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
Overnight in Prague.

Day 3. PRAGUE
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to continue to visit the city.
Head for Charles Bridge to gaze upon its many statues and touch the Cross of St. Jan of Nepomuk. (You can climb the towers at either end of the bridge for panoramic views of the city.) Across the Vltava River, in Lesser Town (Mala Strana), visit the baroque Church of St. Nicholas as well as the Church of Our Lady Victorious, home to the famous ‘Infant Jesus of Prague’.
Afterwards, explore the quaint streets of this area that were once home to diplomats and merchants and now house many foreign embassies.
Free time for lunch.

From Mala Strana continue to the beautiful cloisters of Strahov Monastery, and visit the Prague Loreto, Castle Square and Prague Castle, which in not a single building, but rather a complex of buildings and churches.

After sightseeing, board a relaxing dinner boat cruise along the Vlatava River and admire the sights of Prague by night-

Day 4. PRAGUE-BUDAPEST

Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to continue the trip to Budapest.
Transfer to the train station an take train to Budapest ( aprx 8hrs)
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Budapest.

Day 5. BUDAPEST

Breakfast at hotel.
Day dedicated to visit the city.
Budapest is in fact two cities set astride the majestic Danube. One ‘half’ is Buda, an elegant hillside of opulent buildings. Discover the medieval houses of the castle district, the frescoes in medieval Matias Church, and the spectacular views from Fishermen’s Bastion.
The other ‘half’ is Pest, a bustling hive of museums, galleries, thermal baths, restaurants and bars. See the Gothic Parliament beside the river and the colonnades and statues of Heroes’ Square. In the course of the day, you may also wish to take our optional Danube River Cruise and, later, join our folklore evening to enjoy traditional Hungarian food and music.
Overnight in Budapest.

Day 6. BUDAPEST
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer back to the airport for check-in and your flight home.
End of service.
